On a boundless plain located in the city of Kostanay, Kazakhstan, a bevy of white windmills spin and dance with the wind. This is the 50MW Ybyrai wind power farm, constructed collaboratively by SPRIXIN and Universal Energy, and it has become a model project among the "Key Projects of China-Kazakhstan Production Capacity Cooperation" along the "Belt and Road". In this project, SPRIXIN is the service provider of the power forecasting system, and automatic generation control (AGC) and automatic voltage control (AVC) systems.

Kazakhstan is one of the key countries to international cooperation of the new energy industry in the "Belt and Road" initiative and has abundant wind energy resources. Up to now, SPRIXIN has assisted Universal Energy in constructing and operating 6 new energy projects (wind power and photovoltaic) in Kazakhstan, whose installed capacities reach 250MW and 180MW respectively, summing up to a total grid-connected capacity of 430MW. The 6th new energy project in which SPRIXIN has participated, the Ybyrai wind power farm involves several regions like Kapshagay in Almaty and Zhangiz in East Kazakhstan, etc., further accelerating Kazakhstan’s realization of its goals of renewable energy construction, environmental protection, and economic transformation.

The project was accepted by the Kazakhstan power grid on August 20, 2021, and is currently running well with an estimated annual power generation of 180 million kWh, which can reduce about 153,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions. The wind farm will not only fill the local power gap, but also benefit local environmental protection, energy conservation, and emission reduction.

It is Kazakhstan's national strategy to develop the renewable energy industry, and the country has already achieved considerable new energy reserves. According to data, as of September 2021, Kazakhstan has built and put into operation a total of 126 renewable energy power stations with a summed installed capacity of 1975MW, 430MW of which has applied products and services provided by SPRIXIN, which accounts for 22% of the market size.

SPRIXIN is committed to providing data development and application services for the global new energy industry along the “Belt and Road”. Up to now, we have served customers in regions like Southeast Asia, Central Asia, and Africa, covering Kenya, Ethiopia, Vietnam, Kazakhstan, and many other countries.
