SPRIXIN’s Power Forecasting System: Boosting BIPV Development

Time:2023-01-31 Source:SPRIXIN

Its power forecasting services provided by SPRIXIN, the 24MW rooftop photovoltaic project in Dangyang, Hubei has been successfully accepted and is currently in stable operation. The PV panels are installed on a total of 19 workshops and factory roofs, and the generated electricity is primarily supplied to factory uses, the surplus sent to the grid. It is currently the largest BIPV/BAPV composite distributed photovoltaic project in Dangyang City.

SPRIXIN‘s Power Forecasting System bases its forecasting accuracy on high-precision numerical weather forecasting and multi-dimensional algorithm models, therefore improving the efficiency of power generation, guaranteeing the power usage of the factories, and guarding the safety and stability of grid-connected capabilities of distributed photovoltaics.

After the project is fully put into operation, the average annual power generation will be about 21.94 million kWh, saving about 6,700 tons of standard coal, and reducing about 16,800 tons of carbon dioxide emissions each year.

Promoting the application of the BIPV (Building Integrated Photovoltaic) in factories, carports, bridges, and other buildings can improve the utilization rate of available buildings while elevating the effective use of distributed photovoltaics. SPRIXIN’s high-precision power forecasting system can help distributed PV owners scientifically and efficiently make smart power generation and consumption plans, thus contributing to cleaner and lower-carbon energy consumption structures.
